I was raised in the heart of Albuquerque, New Mexico. I became passionate about journalism by watching my local news station, KOAT Action 7 News, where I would eventually intern and spend a summer working.

 

Currently, I attend Arizona State University, pursuing a bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communications and a master's in Mass Communication at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism, and an associate in Business through the W.P. Carey School of Business. In the future, I hope to eventually host my own show, focusing on topics related to entertainment, celebrities, artists, and culture.

Outside of the newsroom, you can find me serving my community, whether it be as the External Vice President of the National Association of Black Journalists at ASU or on a regional level through my beloved sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. I also work to better myself and the community through key internships with KOAT Action 7 News, the HBCU All-Star Game, and Arizona Water for All.
